Mega Development Group has unveiled plans to construct a significant new residential building in Queens Village, located in the eastern part of Queens. Submitted plans indicate a 310-unit apartment complex will be built at 220-28 Jamaica Avenue, which lies approximately one mile west of the well-known Belmont Park racetrack.

The Kessler family has owned the site since 1994, where they currently operate a retail establishment called Five Boro Flag Banner and Sign. This retail space is situated within a 26,744-square-foot building currently on the property, located between Springfield Boulevard and 22nd Street. Interestingly, while the Kessler family is reported as the current property owner, architectural renderings for the new project identify Mega as the owner. The firm Curtis + Ginsberg Architects has been mentioned as the architect responsible for the new design.
