One prominent example is the Portugal-based real estate brokerage, Porta da Frente Christie’s. The firm has reportedly generated an impressive $100 million in sales from leads facilitated by their AI agent.

According to CEO João Cília, the integration of the AI agent has yielded remarkable outcomes since its live implementation about a year ago. “We have more than 5,000 properties currently in our portfolio. It is impossible for a physical person to know all of the information regarding these 5,000 properties, but it’s not impossible for an AI agent to do so,” Cília emphasized, highlighting the efficiency of AI in providing comprehensive customer service.

Enhancing Customer Experience

When clients interact with eSelf AI’s agents, they supply basic details such as their preferred location, budget, and the desired number of bedrooms. The AI then sorts through listings and can conduct virtual tours, delivering detailed insights into available properties.

This AI-assisted communication model also addresses challenges posed by time zone differences for international clients, particularly those from the U.S. and Brazil. “The AI ensures buyers can receive immediate responses despite the five-hour time difference, improving customer experience without requiring around-the-clock human staffing,” Cília noted.

Looking to the Future

Cília believes that the potential for AI agents extends beyond mere assistance. He suggests that, if leveraged on a broader scale in the coming years, these AI companions could significantly reduce the dependency on human agents and lower operational costs in real estate transactions. “If we can use it on a large scale in the long-term future or in the medium-term future, it can replace a lot of the physical commercial consultants, making the operation of selling properties much cheaper,” he asserted.
